12. Who is the olive tree?

I mentioned two things that the olive trees do. The first is to deliver golden oil to the pure gold lampstand, the saints (Zechariah 4:12). The second is foretelling 1,260 days (Revelation 11:3).

12.1. 1,260 days prophecy

Some people say that 1,260 days is a period of time during which the olive trees prophesy.

However, the olive trees do not prophesy during 1,260 days but foretell what will happen in 1,260 days.

The 1,260 days begins one thousand years after the olive trees finish the prophecy. I will explain this through the Bible.

12.2. The authority for 42 months

1,260 days and 42 months are the same amounts of time. If you count 30 days in a month, 42 months equate to 1,260 days.

Forty-two months are foretold as the period of the beast's authority.

Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?" The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. (Revelation 13:4-5)

12.3. Fight between beast and saints

The beast fights and overcomes those who dwell in heaven, the saints.

He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. (Revelation 13:6-8)

At this time, the saints are those recorded in the Lamb's book of life. All but these will worship the beast. Because the saints are heavenly soldiers, they do not worship him, and they will fight the beast after their training.

However, the strength of the saints is somewhat weaker than the power of the beast, so they will lose to him. But it will not be a unilateral loss. In this war, the beast will also be fatally wounded.

One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. (Revelation 13:3)

12.4. The Death of Olive Trees

In this battle, the saints mean 144,000, and the leader, the olive tree. The olive tree is commissioned to harvest heavenly soldiers and becomes the commander of the heavenly army after the army is completed.

Earlier, I explained that the ranks of the prophets are the first of those to become heavenly soldiers. Only two olive trees were foretold among the prophets. The olive tree is, therefore, the most advanced of the holy soldiers.

In this war, olive trees are killed by the beast.

Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. (Revelation 11:7)

This war begins after the olive trees complete the prophecy on the 1,260 days and after the beast climbs from the Abyss. The battle starts at 42 months when the dragon gives the beast power.

The olive trees bear witness to Jesus before the beast comes up from the Abyss. Thus, the 1,260 days, or 42 months, cannot be merely a time period during which the olive trees prophesy.

Instead, the olive trees are prophesying what will happen in 1,260 days: there will be a war in which the olive trees lead 144,000 heavenly soldiers to fight the beast. The olive trees will be killed but then resurrected to ascend to heaven.

But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. (Revelation 11:11-12)

This fight between the beast and the olive trees takes place after the beast climbs from the Abyss.

12.5. Thousand years and Abyss

When will the beast come up from the Abyss? It will be a thousand years after the Devil is first trapped there.

When the number of heavenly soldiers has been reached, Jesus will come and take them away. The archangel Michael will then fight the dragon to drive the forces out of heaven and lock them up in the Abyss for a thousand years. At this time, the servants of the dragon will, likewise, be cast out.

And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. (Revelation 12:7-9)

And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. (Revelation 20:1-3)

The Devil trapped in the Abyss has not been completely overpowered because the heavenly army must be trained after being fully formed.

During the one-thousand-year period, the heavenly soldiers will undergo their training.

12.6. Evidence as Olive Tree

If someone claims to be an olive tree, he must understand what the 1,260 days is, for the olive tree is the one who must prophesy the 1,260 days.

Since the writing of the book of Revelation, no one has understood the significance of the 1,260 days.

However, Reverend Lee Young-soo of the Holy Eden Church explained that the 1,260 days would be the period after the one thousand years of the Devil’s imprisonment in the Abyss. Furthermore, he said that after these 1,260 days the heavenly army would fight the beast and lose.

His first account of the event was in 1974, and in his first sermon book he described "time, times, and half a time", which is equal to 1,260 days.

That the time, times, and half a time is equal to 1,260 days is a statement in the book of Revelation.

The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days. (Revelation 12:6)

The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach. (Revelation 12:14)

The period for the woman fled into the wilderness is 1,260 days, and also it is explained as time, times, and half a time. So, we can see that these two periods are the same. It is not known how long "Times" are. However, with above phrases, we can know that “times” are two times because time, two times, and half a time is three and a half times, or three and a half years which is equal to 42 months and 1,260 days.

12.7. Meaning of 3.5

1,260 days is 42 months, equal to 3.5 years and to time, times, and half a time. It is God symbolising the number 3.5 as 3.5 years.

What does 3.5 mean?

3.5 is between 3 and 4, where 3 is the number of heaven and 4 is the number of the earth.

A representative example of three is the three patriarchs: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. These spiritually represent God, Jesus, and the (second) olive trees. These three patriarchs are the beings who symbolise the three future rulers of God's world.

God chose Abraham because He needed people in which to send Jesus. Abraham is the source of blessing and the father of nations as the symbol of God (Genesis 12:2, 17:5).

Abraham's son Isaac is a symbol of Jesus, the Son of God.

God required Abraham to offer Isaac as a burnt offering to reveal Jesus' sacrifice (Genesis 22:2). But because Jesus had to be born among Isaac's descendants, God did not kill him (Genesis 22:12).

Isaac's son Jacob is a symbol of the two olive trees, the witnesses of Jesus.

Jacob was titled ‘Israel’ for wrestling with angels and winning (Genesis 32:28). This shows that Jacob is a symbol of the overcomer.

Jacob had 12 sons. His descendants, the 12 tribes of Israel, were the armies of God who fought the Canaanite war. Hence, Jacob is a symbol of the one to complete the spiritual twelve tribes of Israel, the heavenly armies, and the olive tree to harvest in the end times.

Examples of the number 4 are 4 generations, 400 years, and 4,000 years.

The 4 generations and 400 years were Israel's slave years in Egypt (Genesis 15: 13-16). During this time, God raised Israel in Egypt as God's army to fight the Canaanites.

It also symbolises the 4,000 years of producing God's soldiers, from Abraham to current day.

In short, the number 3 represents three beings to rule God's world, and the 4 represents a heavenly army to fight the Devil in the future.

When the 3 and the 4 are completed, a perfect number 7 is achieved. God symbolised the Devil's work, which hindered His own, as 3.5, which is half of seven. That is 3.5 years; 42 months; 1,260 days; and time, times, and half a time. During this period, the beast is given power by the dragon and fights with the heavenly army to win.

Therefore, 1,260 days does not initially mean a period. It is the work of the Devil, which comes after a thousand years, which, in turn, comes after the work of God.

The only one who has revealed this throughout Christian history is the Reverend Lee Young Soo of the Holy Eden Church. It shows that he is the olive tree foretold in the Bible.

12.8. The history of Israel and the Providence of God

The history of Israel, where God showed His providence, is as follows: Abraham-Isaac-Jacob-the four hundred years in Egypt-Moses-Canaan war. It is God's plan for Abraham.

Then the LORD said to him, "Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years. But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions. You, however, will go to your fathers in peace and be buried at a good old age. In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure." (Genesis 15:13-16)

God called Abraham for two purposes. The first was to punish the Canaanites due to their sin with his descendants, and the second was to send Jesus among his descendants. Amor is the son of Canaan.

As mentioned earlier, Abraham represents God, Isaac represents Jesus, and Jacob represents the olive tree.

God made Israel a slave in Egypt to show that humanity is the Devil's servant.

The 4 generations and 400 years in Egypt were the time when God's army was being created for the Canaanite War, symbolising the 4,000 years of God’s work from Abraham to this time.

God asked for the Canaanite war because of the sin of Canaanites (See Leviticus 18). The Canaanite War is a symbol of the battle of Armageddon, which will destroy the Devil in the future.

Moses, who led the army of God in Egypt, represents the olive tree of the end-time harvest mission.

God plagued Egypt through Moses, which is a symbol of the calamity that God will bring upon the world through the olive trees.

These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. (Revelation 11:6)

These words tell us of God's plan to bring disaster through the olive trees.

When this disaster is over, Jesus will return and take the chosen ones (Matthew 24:31). This was symbolized from the exodus at Moses' time, during which there was death and wailing in every house in Egypt (Exodus 12:30).

Moses was also scheduled to wage war in Canaan, but Joshua did this instead because of the people's disobedience. Moses was the symbol of the olive trees who will fight the beast for 42 months.

The Israelites who fought the Canaan War symbolise the 144,000 heavenly soldiers who will fight the Devil in the future.

Therefore, the mission of the olive trees after God and Jesus is critical. He must complete the heavenly army on earth, and after a thousand years, he must wage war against the Devil.

All of this was set by God four thousand years ago. The 700 years of Israel's history from Abraham to the Canaan War was implemented by God to show His plan.

12.9. Secrets of Daniel 12

Earlier, when Daniel saw the vision and did not know its meaning, he asked an angel, who told him that it would be sealed until the end.

I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?" He replied, "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. (Daniel 12:8-9)

It is time to say what it means. Daniel's vision is as follows:

Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others, one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. One of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long will it be before these astonishing things are fulfilled?" The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, "It will be for a time, times and half a time. When the power of the holy people has been finally broken, all these things will be completed." (Daniel 12:5-7)

In Daniel's eyes, there was a river with two men on either side and one man over the river clothed in fine linen.

It is Jesus who wears fine linen. The two men are the two winners and the two olive trees. Let me explain why.

One of the two asked the man in the fine linen clothes about the end times. He who wore the fine linen clothes said that when the power of the saints was broken after time, times, and half a time, the end would come.

The end times is something that Jesus did not know about when he was on earth (Matthew 24:36). The fine linen here explains what the end is.

Who is this being that describes something that the Son of God did not know?

He is Jesus who received the book of God. If he had not fulfilled his mission to carry the cross, then even He would not have had the ability to see it (Revelation 5: 5). Hence, no one can explain the end times except Jesus, who received God's book.

Then, who are the two men on the left and right of the river?

They are the two olive trees. Jesus' answer was that time, times, and half a time must pass before the end comes, which is equal to 1,260 days. Two olive trees predict the 1,260 days. Therefore, the two men on the left and right of the river are two olive trees.

This river is the river of life made of the blood of Jesus. Therefore, the two men on the left and right are the two overcomers who inherit the water of life.

The end will come after the two olive trees appear and complete the harvest mission, so this prophecy has to be sealed until the end.

Now that the time of the two olive trees comes, the beings who have learned the secret appear to have revealed the meaning.

12.10. Reverend Lee Young-soo

Reverend Lee Young-soo went with Jesus to the world of God in 1970 and was commissioned by God as an olive tree directly before God's throne.

Then, for three years, God taught him about His providence. The revelations he received from God are presented in his "Visions from God", published in 2013. This book is available in Korean and ten other languages on the Holy Eden Church site (http://ieden.kr).

The first of the two olive trees was Elder Park Tae-sun, who was called in 1950. In 1955, he poured out grace like waterfalls and appeared as a messenger of fire.

He set up a church "Jeondokwan", the Church of Evangelism, and gathered a million members in a short time. Sadly, however, he insisted on doing the work of the two olive trees alone and was abandoned by God. Later, in 1980, he betrayed God, claimed to be God, and renamed "Jeondokwan" to "Cheonbukyo", the Church of Heavenly Father, to claim that he is the Father.

People accused him of heresy because he betrayed God, but his intention had not always been so. He later passed away in 1990.

Elder Park's ministry began to crumble in the late 1960s, and from 1970 onwards God taught Reverend Lee Young-soo to show His providence and restore the fallen olive tree work. According to these learnings, he founded the Holy Eden Church in 1973.

In 1983, God told Reverend Lee Young-soo, "Olive tree work is my providence, so keep up and stick to it." According to these words, Reverend Lee has made every effort to keep the Word of God.

In 1985, according to God's instructions, he built Algok-seongjeon, the Temple of Grain, and dedicated it to God in 1987.

This temple was foretold as the last harvesting temple in Revelation. When the angel identifies the ripened grain in this temple and informs the one like a son of man with a sickle, who will harvest (Revelation 14:14-16). That is why this temple is called the Algok-seongjeon.

Since then, Reverend Lee has been maintaining the Algok-seongjeon complex beautifully by following God's instructions for more than 30 years. He has revealed the glory and providence of God through this place.

He is the inheritor of the spring water of life from God. To wash away sins, everyone must come to him. God is waiting for the work completed to make heavenly soldiers.

When he reaches the remaining number of heavenly soldiers, Jesus will come and take the chosen ones.
